I'm a grazer – I'd much rather eat lots of tastes and little bites of things than one large meal. So I love eating tapas in Spain, and the similar pintxos when I'm in the Basque country. These are usually served in small bars, heaving with people all cheek to jowl, and you have to elbow your way through the crowd to reach the bar, where you grab whatever looks tasty. How in the world will such a culture survive COVID-19? Reports suggest that the bars had an initial slump, but tapas/pintxos culture is back with a few modifications.
