Wine tasting in Montalcino

Here's a little throwback to 2007. This Hand Crafted Travel guided group is getting their first taste of Brunello wine in a private room, located at the back of Montalcino's oldest wine bar.

Montalcino

Montalcino is my favorite village in Italy, and this little video might give you sense of why that is. Friendly people, fabulous wine, great food, and stunning scenery.

A great visit once again at Il Palazzone in Montalcino.

Views from Rocca d'Orcia

Rocca is a tiny medieval village in southern Tuscany, between Montalcino and Pienza. These were taken at the fortress that crowns the hill above the village.

Near Montalcino, Italy. The monks, whose prayers are lifted up in the form of Gregorian chant, were in fine form tonight.
