Dunajec River Gorge - TBT

At the center of the Pieniny National Park, one of the most scenic parts of Poland, the Dunajec River burbles along through a spectacular gorge, making seven loops in less than 12 miles. The river forms the border between Poland and Slovakia at this point. Native boatmen from both sides ferry passengers in traditional wooden boats along the length of the gorge. Here's one of my Hand Crafted small group tours, looking a little trepidatious as they head out onto the water for a three hour ride with two guys who speak very fluent Polish – and nothing else.
