After driving for 9+ hours over each of the last two days, I arrived at my hotel in Edinburgh this evening to the sight and sound of a bagpiper in full regalia blowing for all he was worth. I thought it was awfully nice of them to arrange this welcome for me. Was it really in honor of my herculean effort, driving from Prague to Edinburgh in just two days? Were they so desperate for tourists in these economic times that they were just glad to see me? Oh, look there are wedding guests arriving. OK, maybe the piper's not for me.

I've spent the last two weeks leading a group from Bruges, Belgium to Prague, Czech Republic, with lots of sights seen and memories built along the way. Between guiding my group around and updating my database of information on each of the towns we visited, I haven't had much time for blogging or even checking e-mail. I'll try to catch up over the next few days.
